A5 pt2 Studio Review

1> From your studio, reflect on an aspect of two other students/groups’ media works in terms of specific insights they produced about a key idea addressed by the studio.

After reading several other students’ scripts, I found that Charlotte’s ‘Convalescence’ and Boyu’s ‘Mary’s Way’ have both focused on the characterization of characters. Charlotte’s ‘Convalescence’ mainly tells the story of a woman who discovered she was pregnant when her husband was out of town on business. This news caught her husband unprepared to become a father, leading to the outbreak of emotion between them at the same time. There are several highly emotional moments in the script that focus on the spatial, psychological, and emotional differences between the two sides’ perspectives. Boyu’s ‘Mary’s Way’ focuses on a young, promising policewoman who falls in love with a criminal during a mission, but she must choose between justice and love. He not only focused on the dialogue between the characters in the script but also focused on polishing the details of the entire scene.

Because they all focus on shaping the characters and polishing the dialogue and contradiction between the characters so that the audience can better substitute the emotions. So when I read the script, I unknowingly inserted myself into the character itself, and it was very infectious. The shaping of the character image is essentially a secondary creation process in which the performer moves the artistic image of each character from his mind to the screen. In the process of film screening, the success of character image shaping directly determines the effect of the audience in the cinema, and even a brilliant character image shaping will leave a very deep impression on the audience. Charlotte and Boyu did a really good job on this assignment, I think. After all, this is the first time for us to write a script, and we can still see that we are not very skilled in many details. For example, some of the languages in the dialogue are not particularly infectious, and the actor may not be able to perform the effect the author wants in the process of interpretation under the condition of uncertain emotions.

My script also focuses on characterization, but I don’t choose to focus on the dialogue between the characters. I mainly portray the character image through the behavior between other characters and the protagonist. In the future, I will learn to better portray the character through the emotion and dialogue between the characters. The study of this semester, my creation, and watching the writing achievements of others have laid a good foundation for my future employment in the film industry. And thank you to Tim for going out of his way every week to help each of us makes the script better.

2> Choose one other studio whose works you viewed in Week 13. Describe a key idea that you think the finished media/studio work communicated with reference to two specific examples (i.e. particular individual/group works)

Another studio I chose was POWER OF THE CUT. Among them, Emily and Jade’s works shocked me the most. The main task of their studio is to further develop individual short film editing skills through multiple short edits. They both use fast-paced jumps and minimal word work to highlight the ideas of the film itself, and they are both female editors.

In most films, the cinematographer, editor, and director work together to create an immersive, integrated viewing experience. Some editing points may make the audience jump out of this experience and realize that they are watching a movie. Emily and Jade use this technique to bring the audience in. Rhythm change is the soul of film art. The rhythm of the film is also a rhythm formed by the film structure, the processing of shot length, and other elements. The order of a group of faces is complete, middle, near, and special such as a progressive relationship. This is exactly in line with the social situation and people’s psychological state. However, with the development of society and the enhancement of people’s thinking ability of generalization, the demand for film rhythm is higher and higher. As long as it is a developing thing, the change will have its rhythm. For example, in the ecological change of nature, society keeps pace with The Times, and the psychology and emotion of the characters have their rhythm. Although it is the first time for Emily and Jade to try to edit a short film, I think their final product is very good.

By watching their finished products, I learned some understanding of short frequency rhythm. This also set a good example for me to control the rhythm when editing a short film in the future. In the process of editing, I will add what I have learned.

The Proof Of Concept A#4

3. Pathway to Audience

My target audience is 15-25 years old teenagers, because the main character Joe in the movie is similar in age to them, and these teenagers are going through the same things as Joe. The movie itself has a bit of science fiction in it, with lightning bestowing special powers on Joe. Boys may like this aspect of things a little more. A secondary audience is parents who come to accompany their teenagers to watch the film, and they can also watch the film to teach their children not to look at others with colored glasses. The most special audience group is those children with congenital diseases, and I will try to create a free viewing environment for them. Let them know that they are not “special” and that as long as they always have a kind heart to treat others and diseases, they can become ordinary people one day.

The audience of the film festival must be loyal fans of all kinds of films. As a special audience, they can help me find my audience more accurately. The Babadook has been shown at more than 50 international film festivals, and its success even helped Kent’s election campaign (Landman, 2019). I also want to show this film for free as a public benefit film to some patients who also suffer from congenital leukemia and other congenital diseases. I hope this film will inspire them to be more positive in their treatment and life.

My strategy for securing the release of the movie was a lot of publicity on TikTok. Where there is traffic is where I as a propaganda strategy of the battlefield, in today’s traffic rampant era, there is exposure to achieve success. TikTok is the No. 1 most downloaded APP in the Apple Store and the top app in more than 40 countries around the world, making it arguably one of the fastest-growing short video apps. Moreover, the page views and daily usage data of users are very good, which is very suitable for the promotion of new things. The more exposure, the more people who want to see long films through proof of concept, and the bigger my audience will be.

4. Reflection

The final product, in the form of a short film, conveys the studio’s proof of concept to support long-term projects and strengthen the career path of new practitioners. Short films have become popular with many young and middle-aged people in recent years, which is a current trend. Whether it is news or funny things, they are spreading quickly on the Internet using small videos. As a future practitioner of new media, I support my long-term idea by creating proof of concept to pave the way for my future career path. Every success requires countless efforts, and this creation is the first step of my efforts.

Before pushing the content of this proof of concept to the long-term idea, I need to make some improvements to my core content. The most important one is about the main character, Joe, who has been suffering from congenital leukemia since childhood. I need to make more research and field trips to observe the behavior and language of people with leukemia to get closer to the character. And observe how people treat them in their lives. Leukemia is not the only child with congenital conditions. Children with congenital conditions such as autism and heart disease also need social attention. I need to simulate their life as realistically as possible so that the audience can empathize with the characters in the film.

I think my proof of concept can prove the long-term idea effectively. My proof of concept is also very carefully written, and the two are already very similar. I use the same characters to give the audience a mental build-up before watching a movie. After watching the proof of concept, the audience will not only be curious about how the subsequent story will develop, but also have a certain understanding of the protagonist’s role. When watching a movie, the audience will be good to carry out the substitution of the scene. It’s like when we meet a stranger for the first time in our life, we may feel a little awkward, but after we get to know each other for the first time. After meeting a stranger for the second time, we will relax a lot.

The main challenge in the creative process is not being able to write. Although I have many inspirations, I often use my native language for small creations. However, this is the first time I faced the professional creative process. The biggest challenge I need to face is that I am not familiar with writing software and do not know how to express my inspiration properly. In the process of writing, Tim would patiently teach us how to use the software in every class, give us writing demonstrations in person, and give us one-on-one opinions, which helped me overcome this challenge bit by bit. And he completed my creation.

The Proof Of Concept A#2

1. Development of your Long Form Narrative Idea

Title: Carp under the ice

Format : feature film

Genre: narrative type(Third person point of view)

Main Character bio: The main character is a little boy named Joe. His journey is to go through his life without the care of his parents. He wanted to return good for bad by his actions and gain his parents’ love. The obstacle Joe needs to overcome is his own. He needs to put up with his stepmother’s bad behaviour. He will learn to return good for evil, although others treat him badly he cannot do so to others. As he grew older, he became more understanding of his stepmother’s behavior and did not hold grudges.

One paragraph synopsis: Joe Smith’s mother died when he was three years old. His father married a new wife. The father and the wife had two more sons. The father worked outside the home all year long, and the stepmother not only treated him as a bull but also frequently abused him in the family. But when his stepmother fell ill in her later years, he still chose to use his own body to melt the ice and fished out a carp from the river to stew soup for her body.

Development research: I decided to use the technology of digital “underwriting” script development in the age of media convergence, using mobile phones, cameras, and social media to record and pre-select actors’ ideas during workshops (Dooley 2017). Use visual and auditory data as a form of development, and invite the audience to participate in the production. These improvisations can enrich my character. The actors’ behaviors and actions combined with the opinions of the audience can make my works more popular after the release. The process of recreating the character also allows the actor to become more immersed in the character. By setting the keywords for the actor’s role, such as wooden, introverted, forbearance, etc., observe the voice and expression of the actor in the role. I put these instinctive improvisations into my work to improve my character. Film-makers naturally write a lot of written work during their creative life, as a form of generation and exploration (Dooley 2017). And the high-tech of modern society just transformed the written to digital, creation is no longer limited to written expression. My whole movie has a dark tone because my main character Joe has been growing up in a very depressing environment. There is a large amount of literature that shows that images of suffering may arouse the sympathy of the audience. I hope to build a bridge between the film and the audience through the “social empathy” in people’s hearts (Roberts 2021). Audiences’ emotions about movie content are of great concern, not only because the human information ecosystem is more crowded, complex, and faster than ever before, but also because emotional responses can guide behavior (Roberts 2021). However, there is a limit to this visual impact. If the painful scenes are repeated, the audience will suffer from “compassion fatigue”. Just like the reading of Understanding Characters in the third week, characters are the lifeblood of scripts (Waldeback, & Batty 2012). In all stories, they are the characters used by the audience to understand the content the author wants to convey and experience the plot. Using modern technology to record the overlap between the actor and the character, the resonance between the actor and the character is very important for the audience and the filmmakers. The most intense exercise between the audience and the film is through whose eyes the audience sees the whole storyline. Therefore, it is important to choose the main characters wisely. Maybe the filmmakers are very subjective, and the opinions of others become more important.

2. Development of your Proof of Concept Idea

Title :A Gray childhood

Format :short film

Main Character :I would use the same character, Joe. The long film portrays Joe’s life, mainly Joe’s performance in the face of outsiders and external things. For the proof of concept, I wanted to use a montage to create an individual piece of Joe’s thoughts and thoughts when he was alone. Let everyone in contact with the whole movie before, can more understand the protagonist itself some character color.

One paragraph synopsis:Joe was dealing with domestic violence from his stepmother and her sons every day. He tried to communicate with them, but it didn’t make any difference. So one night he killed his stepmother, who had been his evil growing up.

3. Justification and Rationale for your Proof of Concept Idea

As far as I am concerned, short videos are both audio and picture forms that are easy for the audience to have sensory impact, and they are more able to bring the audience into the idea that the author wants to express. And short video at present is very popular, in recent years the development of the network can be said to be very rapid, short video in a short time to attract the eyes of most people. People are no longer addicted to reading a lot of newspapers and websites, but prefer to get information quickly through short videos. Short video is an epitome of long video. For viewers, many people first judge whether they are interested in the matter through short video, so as to conduct deeper research.

I think my long form idea can be very challenging to sell to a producer because we can’t tell if the producer we’re dealing with is interested in my idea. If he happens to be interested in my idea, then he’s on the same wavelength, and if my idea doesn’t go over well with the producer, then I need to change my mind and try something else. And in some cases, we can’t just say what we want to say, but we also have to go with the producer and the prevailing opinion.

But I firmly believe that my proof of concept works, and that my short video format fits right in with the current pandemic trend. It also doesn’t require a huge budget, so it’s very easy to implement. I think my content can also attract a lot of viewers, children are the future of the motherland, everyone attaches great importance to the development of children, it is easy to get everyone’s reason. And this is a very realistic problem. We can really help some vulnerable groups in need of help through our own strength. Even if we don’t earn money after the film is broadcast, it is very meaningful. Perhaps my expression form can not be recognized by the audience, but what I want to express will also attract a lot of attention from the society.

I think my proof of concept can make investors feel that my long idea does not require too much money, it is very easy to shoot, and it is very cost saving. Long concept challenges are feasible if they can get the attention of government investors. Children’s mental health during the growth period is conducive to children’s cognition and thinking in a healthy state, unhealthy state will make children appear psychological distortion, affect children’s future study and work. When he enters the society, there is a great possibility that he will have a negative impact on the society. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to children’s mental health from childhood.

4. Reflection

In this exercise, I learned to integrate the character with the actor at the creation stage, and record some of the actor’s temporary creations. All kinds of auditory or visual information are recorded to generate more inspiration for the producer. For example, during my proof of concept, I would go to welfare homes and observe the behavior and language of children with psychological problems themselves. And then help me to better depict the image of my hero Joe, so that he just add close to life. Since my proof of concept is about showing Joe’s mind, I also listen to what they have to say. Only by truly understanding the behavior and language of the characters themselves can they be portrayed more naturally. I overcame the challenge of character perception throughout the process, and kept thinking about whether the proof-of-concept should be used with the same protagonist as the feature-length. As for the portrayal of characters, I also told my ideas to my friends and parents again and again, so that they could give me more suggestions for improvement and make my role more complete. I also looked up the experiences and inner world of many characters similar to my protagonist in real life. This exercise made me more determined that I want to be a good filmmaker. I decided to use my existing resources to contact some filmmakers and learn from them from now on. I know so little now, and I have much reading and appreciation to make up for it.

The Proof Of Concept A#1

  1. Write about what you want from this studio.

My understanding of the studio is to use a picture or a short film to attract people’s interest in the whole film or TV series. Perhaps when hearing the name of the film, only 10 per cent of people wanted to watch it after its broadcast, but when “Proof of Concept” was promoted or displayed in front of everyone, the number of people who wanted to watch it increased to 50 per cent. Through the teacher’s teaching and analysis of previous materials in class, practice, and deeper research after class, I have become more understanding of “Proof of concept”. When I see publicity pictures in real life or on the Internet in the future, I will be able to understand and think at a deeper level than others.

I hope that after studying in this studio this semester, I can see another concept map and analyze it more quickly than others. For example, while other people can only see it, I can see details like the type of concept, the tone of the film, the director, and the characters’ understanding of the characters and the main plot and main idea from this picture. And it has greatly improved my overall aesthetic concept and depth of thinking. Through further study, I hope I can also participate in the production of a concept map shortly, even if I just sit by and participate in the study. A bigger wish is that I hope I can be a positive influence in the media industry in the future, not necessarily to win many awards. I just hope that when people see my name, someone will say that her movies are not bad. Perhaps I have been an anonymous behind-the-scenes worker, but the films I have participated in have been recognized or liked by most people every time.

  1. Outline your career goals as a filmmaker.

Now I am in the second year of my college life. If I calculate my five-year plan from next year, I will focus on completing my basic studies in the next three years. During the last year of university life and two years as a master’s student, I used my extra energy to do internships in some media companies or posts during the holidays, which enabled me to accumulate certain working experience in the future and feel the difference between society and campus. After the end of the first three years of study, is to continue to attack the doctor’s degree or enter the society to work, have not thought well at present. But no matter what I am doing three years later, I will never give up reading and studying. I want to pursue a master’s degree in directing or supervising. I want to become a behind-the-scenes producer, but I want to make more people like to study film or media through my strength. Statistics show that only five per cent of female directors have directed more than six films. In this so-called “gender equality” era, there is still a lot of inequality. I hope that through my efforts, I can influence more women to participate in the film industry and step by step towards the real era of “gender equality”.

I will consider my network, reputation, and location first. Now I have decided to return to China directly after the completion of my studies, or I will find a job in Melbourne to accumulate experience and then transfer back to China. Since neither of my parents is in the media industry, the networking problem for me starts at zero. No matter the teachers and classmates in the school or the leaders outside the school, they may become valuable people in the confused period in the future. The first thing to do and keep is to keep my word. No matter how small or insignificant the work is, I will take it seriously and do my best. Then I will record my finished work every time to form my portfolio. I can present my past and experience whenever someone needs me to do so. The film is a kind of image medium. If I can prove that I understand the basic knowledge of image better than others, I believe that people will choose to work with more capable people. The studio “Proof of Concept” can lay a solid foundation for my image knowledge, such as how to use wide Angle and long lenses to shoot different scenes, and the exposure is very large for the image of a photo. And get into the habit of jotting down your ideas, even if you only have a napkin. Constantly develop your conversational skills through reading and communication. While good technology is a good skill, in this age of social media, communication skills are equally important. Beautiful pictures are useful if you can’t convey the right message. It’s more important to be a keen listener and to make up for your shortcomings by constantly asking questions about yourself and your work.

  1. The initiative post – This post is for you to research and write about the proof of concept case study

Since 1930, Disney animators have brought different elements of the European aesthetic movement to film. The French Rococo in Beauty and the Beast is one of the most famous examples. In addition to the characters, even the supporting characters, such as gilt bronze candlesticks and ceramic statues, also have many inspirations from Germany, Holland, and England. Beauty and the Beast are based on the Rococo fairy tale written by French screenwriter Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and popularized by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. The little story that was not known to the public became a household name, and the image of beauty and the beast became deeply impressed in people’s minds. Good portrayal of characters and backgrounds is very important to the whole film, when people are attracted by the elevator or the publicity picture on the street, they will want to know what the whole story is like. Therefore, the public image is very important for the audience of a film. First of all, it must be able to infect the audience’s emotions. Either it is so beautiful that passers-by can stop and watch it, or it is so sad that the audience can feel it.

The notion of beauty as coercive or corrupting has been utilized by philosophers since Plato to explain things from hedonism to the rise of totalitarianism (Vacker 1993). Mark Henn, who has successfully portrayed many classic characters such as little Simba in The Lion King and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, chose to draw inspiration from Cinderella to create Belle, hoping that she would be as authentic as Cinderella. Andreas Deja is responsible for the villain Gaston because the theme of this story is that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Just as a fierce beast has a heart of gold, Gaston should also have this contrast. Handsome and manly on the surface, but cruel at heart. He even went to the gym to study male muscles to better portray the role. Like all the great Disney classics, Disney’s animated Beauty and the Beast was a huge success thanks to its powerful story, well-crafted songs and music, and vivid characters, which has become the most iconic version of the famous story in many people’s minds. There are so many versions, this one will be lasting in people’s minds no more than the concept of the depiction has firmly grasped the audience’s heart. At first, the most classic pas de deux is used as a publicity picture to attract people’s attention. After watching it again, the truth of not judging people by their appearance is imprinted in people’s hearts.

Through this case study, I learned that a good aesthetic is the first requirement for making an attractive concept map and preview. Even if you don’t have the technology, you need to express it to others through good language organization ability, in which communication is essential. Secondly, it is the understanding of the whole story. When you read and are attracted by the plot countless times, it is the moment that can move the audience the most. Proof of Concept can be carried out around this moment. Finally, it is important to know not only the plot itself but also the historical background in which it should be set. Because every detail can not be missed, even the supporting role of the teapot is centered on the theme of not judging people by their appearance, the success of the whole film can be achieved.

A5 pt2 Studio Review

1> From your studio, reflect on an aspect of two other students/group’s media work on the website in terms of specific insights they produced about a key idea addressed by the studio?

Clara and Tiffany’s ‘Android’ is very attractive, and the main idea is to build a simulated robot that looks like you like to accompany you. It can be an image of a family member who is no longer with you, and you want to keep him with you. It could be that you are an only child and want the company of a sibling. Or maybe you as a parent, are trying to mould your child’s image of a nanny. Such technology has the potential to offer customers more than real people the benefits of multiple business models, such as cutting living costs and improving the service quality. And their after-sales service is very meticulous, each product sold has a unique TWO-DIMENSIONAL code. After the mobile phone is bound, you can check the situation at home in real-time. Even better than current home monitoring, it is active and can be monitored without blind spots. The information received by phone is also updated in real-time. For example, if there are children, the elderly, or the disabled in the family who have an emergency, they can inform and help at the first time. If found serious, can automatically alarm. Especially with the popularity of mobile devices, especially those with the ability to take photos, QR codes are very popular in Asia. This makes it easier for everyone. The team also conducted market research to find out which types of robots were more in demand. This kind of research is necessary before a product is produced, and if most people in the market do not like the company of robots, the development of this program will be wasted. During the pandemic, many people lost their families, and many young children and elderly people had to go to quarantine hotels on their own. If a robot can accompany them at this time, the family will be relieved.

Zihao Zhao’s ‘InVisible’, a mobile app designed to activate cities in the wake of the pandemic, allows people to talk about social issues such as climate change, which is very thought-provoking. He spent the whole semester reading extracurricular materials to connect data visualization with actual locations and finally wanted to achieve the idea of visualizing the carbon footprint of Melbourne. His starting point was so advanced that he would never have learned about the topic had he not read so much extra-curricular material. The design of his App is very simple and clear. Although there are not many functions, each one is very practical. The first is an AR technology to track the carbon footprint. Tracking the carbon footprint is already a difficult task, and it is even harder to visualize the carbon footprint. Another is that users upload a photo to the software, which automatically analyses the carbon footprint of each photo to determine whether it is good for the environment. The current global environmental issues are indeed worthy of attention and discussion if this software can really appear in the application market and be widely promoted. It is very beneficial to our environmental transformation and can wake up some people who do not pay much attention to environmental protection.

2> Choose one other studio from this list (we suggest selecting a studio that you would not normally be interested in). Then describe a key idea that you think the finished media/studio work communicated with reference two specific examples (i.e. particular individual/group works)

My chosen work is Hurt by POETIC VIDEO. From the very beginning of this video, the audience can clearly understand that he wants to express that the pain will not be healed by suturing. It’s just a short film shot on a mobile phone, but it’s very deep. It is not only the content of the film that causes people to think deeply but also the editing techniques and music of the video that guides the audience step by step into the world of the film. This is what Communication wants to bring to you in this era of fast media. Even if it is just a short film, it can cause people to think deeply after watching it. Another reference is’ SEEN ‘from the same Studio. The work needs to be carefully considered by the audience. When you first watch it, you may not know what it is trying to say. As for the POETIC VIDEO, I think they pay more attention to the understanding of the media era and want to convey it to the audience. After watching the short film, they need to meditate. Media has made the pace of The Times faster, and we have less time to think. Through their work, they want to awaken people’s deep and thoughtful thoughts.

MISSE Final Project

First of all, you can see the whole earth, there are many animals on it, we just want to express that every animal on this earth can be observed and shared with our software. Here you can meet other people who love animals as much as you do. We expect that every user of MISSE will become each other’s best friends.

Our MISSE is mainly inspired by KEEP, which combines both social function and GPS into one APP. KEEP allows people to find like-minded people to work out with in terms of exercise. It is for people who like to do exercise, and MISSE is for people who like pets. Similarly, we will use big data analysis to classify users with different preferences, create opportunities for them to meet new friends, and push content in related fields, such as pushing some notes on keeping it according to the type of pet you have. The innovative point is that our user experience feedback comes not only from humans but also from animals. more importantly,We will offer to sell Pets Smart Collar to pet owners in need. Pets Smart Collar is our latest invention. To allow owners to observe their pet safety issues in real time.

Research finds that Pet owners are highly motivated in understanding behavior and physiology of their pets and monitoring their wellbeing.  So we will sell smart pet collars. This device can help pet owners identify and  relieve(re leave) stress in their animals, increase their pet’s longevity(longjerryT) and improve their quality of life. It will allow you to not only monitor your pet’s health over the long term, but enable you to take ss action, before it’s too late, all while keeping an eye on your pet’s GPS location.

Heart and respiratory rate are the best measures for preventive care and monitoring of at risk pets. With the Smart Collar, measure your pet’s Health state with medical accuracy, keep tabs on their activity levels and their daily routine. These ensure that the owner can better observe his pet when it is kept in someone else’s home.

Activity tracking

Ensure their physical activity levels match their needs (walking, playing, running), track their meals, sleep quality, and barking. However, people and dogs have different physiological structures, so our app is to record and gives feedback according to the data of pets. By monitoring heart rate activity at the same time, owners can also see which type of exercise their dogs prefer, leading to more friendly play with their pets. When the pet starts to lose strength, the app will send a message on the owner’s phone via collar to ensure the pet’s health.

GPS area tracking and escape alerts

Keep an eye on your pet’s location in real-time. Track their outings while they’re not with you and know where to look for them in case they run away or get lost. Set up geographic areas (home, work, school, car park…) and be alerted when your GPS Tracker enters and/or exits them. You can create as many regions as you like.

You can search for any information you want in Research, just like Google. For example, when you enter the golden retriever, our database will give you the nearest and most reliable buyers and sellers from your home. After you find the buyer or seller information you need in the Research section, you can have one-to-one communication with them in Chat. You can connect with any buyer, seller, or expert one-on-one, typing, speaking, or video, just like message on Instagram.

After covid-19

During the pandemic, when owners are forced to quarantine or cannot return home in time because of local policies. The family pet may be starved to death, and our MISSE will use big data to push information to people near the home who like pets.Connecting owners’ pets in isolation in the field with families near their homes who are willing to adopt on a short-term basis. After passing the test, short-term adoptions can be made. We will send a collar to ensure the pet’s own physical and mental health, the safety of the adopter and the ability for the pet owner to monitor in real-time what activities the pet is doing to reduce worry.

Doing Mobile Assignment#4

I hope that through my works, people can realize that all people should be equal in the face of disasters, and the mental and physical health of pets should also be valued. I hope that those families who raise pets can be responsible for their pets for life, rather than giving up halfway, which leads to many pets becoming stray dogs and cats. I hope to arouse people’s kindness to help each other in the face of the pandemic. A large number of people cannot go home in time to feed their pets due to various policies, but pets need to eat and drink water every day just like people. It is fatal for them that their owners cannot return home in time. It is hoped that through the dissemination of big data, kind-hearted people can help each other. Our platform also safeguards the health of owners, adopters, and pets themselves.

If we want to expand in the future, I would like to find some professional veterinarians to make an online and offline diagnoses for pets, mainly to improve our mental and physical health examination system for animals. This will not only make users trust our platform more, but also help save more animals. Those who are new to owning a pet for the first time, are sure to encounter some strange behaviour, such as the sudden vomiting of food. This time, the new owner will be confused and not know what to do next. At this point, he can text or call our professional veterinarian to check the overall health of the pet with simple instructions, and then decide whether he needs to go to the hospital in time or just eat too much.

I finished the whole homework for this semester with Miya. In terms of designing software or function, I think the two people’s ideas will be more perfect. The teacher in the first class did not directly start the lecture, but asked about the epidemic situation in the area where all of us are now and how our lives are. I fell in love with the teacher immediately. There will also be group discussions with different students in each class, which I think is no different from offline. Most of the time this semester was relaxed and happy for me, doing what I like in my favorite major. Maybe the software I made will be developed in the future to help more people and animals. In most people’s impression, Chinese people don’t like to communicate very much, and so do I. I am afraid that my pronunciation is not standard, and others will not understand me when I say it. However, the attitude of the teacher made me braver and braver to express my ideas, and she would give me timely feedback even if there was a small problem in my homework. After the speech, she praised me, which made me braver and braver to express myself and fall in love with this course, forming a virtuous circle.
