We expect this movie to be between 2 minutes and 3 minutes. Since we have five different scenes and limited time, we will make it in a fast-paced way. Regarding the role, the film’s female mainly plays five girls who are in different field character. We also invited 7 supporting roles to add to the fun of this film. They are all good friends, so it is free in terms of cost. Moreover, because we are a fast-paced film, we have not arranged any dialogue. Finally, with regard to color, most of our chosen scenes are bright and warm, because we are showing the self and vitality of young girls.

we spent a day looking for the right scene last Saturday.We have chosen a few good locations.We initially placed the location in the Crown Hotel Room, Rmit Library, Dockwalk Pedestrian, Apartment Elevator，and dockland’ parking.

The only place we have to spend money in the entire movie is the Crown Hotel. One of the scenes in our film is a very stylish and modern room. We have seen many places. Only the Crown Hotel is the best room for us. We especially hope to produce the most satisfactory works. Finally, I decided to spend money to rent a suite with Liuyi.

Blog5: inspiration

Our final story is inspired by an mv of a very famous female singer in Taiwan. In this mv, she played four different roles: the 80s rhythm teacher, the show-rich, the fresh female, and actress. Although she plays different people, they all have the same personality that is competitive, and everything is win. The idea is just like the theme we want to express. 

Moreover, Liuyi, and I used a similar idea to show us the story we revealed. In our movie, there is a girl who will play five different characters. Five people have a distinct personality and appearance, and we have chosen five different scenes suitable for them. There’s a debutante, a sweet girl, urban athletic  girl, and the last mysterious girl  (we want to keep a little mystery, let the audience guess what the last one looks like)

Each character we use different stories to show their unique character. More, we understand that many people don’t like or even hate stereotypes. On the contrary, we are trying to express these five stories with stereotypes. We hope to let the audience be most intuitively aware of the stereotypes. So we want to convey is that when each feature is concentrated on one person, don’t guess which one is her. We don’t have the right to define anyone.

Blog4: New Group and Brainstorming

When I showed my most preliminary thoughts, I found my group partner Liuyi. It is a coincidence that he and I were classmates last semester. We had the same idea at the time, which is to continue to use fashion as a theme. We quickly began brainstorming and discussing the opinions of our film concept. When I think of the word fashion, the first thing that comes to my mind is that people like fashion because fashion can be used to show their beauty. But fashion is just an aid, and its beauty is due to its self-confidence. Moreover, the result of our discussion is that the girl’s self-esteem is not the result of the clothes; this is heartfelt thoughts.

We passed the simple brainstorm before we spent some time to perfect the final set of ideas. In this ordinary society, most people like to define others based on their appearance, just like stereotypes. The truth is, when you can only see one person, you can’t easily judge who she is. Because at that time you only saw the surface of others, you can’t know his accurate and complete self. What our film wants to say is that, for each individual, she should be seen as a whole personality, rather than showing their different characteristics separately.

Finally, before the end of the week, we spent a little time dividing. Liuyi is a screenwriter for this film and some preparations before filming work. And I am good at post-production and editing work. I have more experience in the later stages. Furthermore, we will work together to complete each step. We believe in each other, and we have similar tastes and ideas. I trust that we will cooperate very smoothly.

Blog3：New idea

On the first day of the second week, there was a new idea to come up to my mind. First of all, I want to make a commercial advertisement for fashion.

In recent years, more and more brands have attracted consumers to buy their clothes. They are continually introducing new products to improve their sales. Most consumers buy back every new product in order to pursue the so-called fashion. Because the replacement is too fast, some clothing consumers could not have time to wear it or wear it once or twice. The last problem is that they could only throw away these clothes.Moreover, more and more clothes are forced to become garbage. And this garbage may not be processed. In the end, these items became the source of environmental pollution.My idea is to express the concept of saving and protecting the environment to the audience by making only a stylish advertising video.

Regarding the details of this idea, first I want to divide the picture into two parts. The two images are the same girl, and she is doing the same thing. But there are very different places in the two-part. The first difference is that she will be standing in two different backgrounds, one in a modern city and the other in a slum. The second one, the girls who live in a fashion city, are all makeup to show their charm, and the other, has no money to paint any makeup. The last one is that they wear different clothes, she is wearing the most fashionable clothes in the city center, and another girl in the slums can only wear the clothes that fashion girl has discarded. I hope that they can form a sharp contrast, let the audience feel that some people could only wear old clothes.

Blog2：Last semester film 

I showed my work in the last semester of class. The studio of last semester was screen fashion, so our theme is fashion. First of all, the meaning of fashion I understand is an endless loop which is timeless and eternal. The past will rebirth, and the present will be gone. 

Timeless’ expresses the circulation idea of fashion through a suspense story. The whole story creates an imagination that the same person from three different timelines meets and shift roles via clothes changing.  Then the clothes become the symbol of identities, characters, and eras. The interactive lens will be tried to break the dimensional wall. And they represent ‘past,’ ‘present’ and ‘future’ which reveal the thought that fashion is like a Mobius strip — the symbol of infinite. Beyond that, ‘Timeless’ also delivers the idea that what people are chasing in fashion may already exist in themselves. Going with the stream is never the truth and attitude of fashion

I want to continue to use fashion as a theme in my first assignment. At the same time, I used some unique angles to shoot in this film. I think I can continue to use this technique in the next one. On the other hand, I am not very satisfied with this video. I also could hear some noise in this shot film. I didn’t handle the sound part very well. Finally, I want to improve this problem through this semester study.

Blog1: new world…

Experiment. Screen. Sensation is a studio that I am very interested in. I am delighted to have chosen this class. First of all, I think this lesson is like a new world. I got in touch with many different types of video clips in the first lesson. Furthermore, I think some of the knowledge and filmmaking skills of this class are very practical, and I believe it will be a precious journey for me. At the same time, I know that the film I need to make this semester has no scope and any restrictions. This provided a huge creative space for me. I like this very much. Free creation is a good thing, but it is also a challenge for me. Creation is not an easy task. I understand that creation is a very complicated process. The creators usually need to spend a lot of time to come up with new things. I hope that I can improve my ability to create new jobs this semester. I used to take a week or two to think of a bright idea, and then I need to spend more time to process these ideas. But this semester, I am no longer working alone, so I believe I can save a lot of valuable time.

Moreover, I have a lot of ideas about my first assignment in the first lesson. I like fashion, and fast-paced film vision, so I want to make a film about fashion advertising. I am never aware that I have an idea so quickly. Finally, I hope that I can learn some of the film editing knowledge and technology that I have not touched, and I hope Experiment. Screen. Sensation studio that suits me very well.
