Week1- reflection
My partner Gigi, Rico and I going to find an object that many people in the class has it, and take a photo by each one. The most object that my classmates have are computers, but I feel it too bored if I just take photos of each laptop, because there are almost look the same. So we chose pen as our object, and ask classmates to take the photos, whatever they are holding it to let go on the notebook…. and make those pen together as a video, so we can use this way to explain the meaning of ‘Tag’ and also the significance of ‘Tag’. I guess it creates a relationship with our classmates by using one object.
During the process of making my online screen media task, in week two, we discuss the meaning of Literature networks. Literature networks can link across the networks and be making your own catalog of pieces of information. As what I said in my development blog, on the internet everything is individual, same as what I’ve done in my test project, each pen is individual, but we can link it together by using Tag and RSS. Indeed, as what Hannah said in this class, we are not making a whole, we are making parts. This sentence makes me think a lot. As what I’ve done in media 1 and 2 courses, each project is connected with others, and finally, I can do a complete piece of my project. However, I feel this semester is totally opposite compare with my last semester. During the text project, I realized it is really interest for me to see in a mass online space, people can still find the useful information for themselves. Again, in the internet world, we can do whatever we want to make.
Therefore, I think I am going to develop about how can I make an online screen media project that each part is individual but can create a relationship between audiences and my work itself as a media practitioner?
