Here is our last assessment to record a 7-8 minutes audio about ‘attention’. I’m in the group with Liam and Cindy. Firstly, we were so struggled about come up with an interesting and creative idea about the theme ‘attention’. My opinion is that I don’t want to do some thing which directly related to it. Attention is just a hint for us. I mentioned the idea that more and more people are paying attention to the environment and animal now, because they realise that animals are also the very necessary part of the eco system. I wanted to talk about the relationship between human and animal, to figure out why animals are taking our attention. Liam and Cindy agreed with this general idea. Liam said that we could just focus on one particular animal to narrow the range. That was the first discussion of us.

Then, we went outside the building to do a practical recording. We knew the general concept of atmosphere, spots sound and sound effect, and we needed to include an interview in the recording. The place behind Building 9 was holding the Student Union activity again, and that was a good spots sound to let people know about the location. When I put on the headphone, it was like I could hear every little sound in this place. To show benefits of our city campus, we recorded some traffic sound. When we passed the cafe, we found that interesting to record the sound of walking on the leaves. In all, the recording procedure really brought me lots of fun.
