Safety
Generally, the lecture teaches me how to shoot outside professionally. I didn’t know there were lots of things to notice before this lecture. Paul mentioned that when director planned to do a outside shooting, they should first think of the permission of location, people, and materials. For example, I plan to interview my friend, and I need to ask that is him/her willing to be interviewed and shot by a camera. Also, I should submit a permission form for the request of shooting in a public place. And the most important thing I should notice is safety. Liam mentioned about a real case that a man hurt his leg during his shooting, which reminded me safety is not an abstract issue.
Reading Reflection
The author Danah raises the opinion that teens like to share everything on their SNS,but they do not want their parents to see these information. It seems that teens have “double standard” on their privacy. In my opinion, this is due to the different trend in different ages. When some words or sentences suddenly become popular on the internet, teens may publish some related things on their social apps to show that they get this trend in time, and their friends will notice. However, some parents don’t understand the meaning of that. Sometimes these words teens publish don’t mean anything, but it causes the sense of distance between teens and parents. Also, there are some privacy that teens don’t want to share with parents. It is true that most parents want to know about children’s life, but they should both control the limitation of these sharing information. The most significant issue is that teens should build a appropriate attitude of privacy.
