Ice Breaking Game, or so called ‘Get to know each other’, seems had been the activity that we most often did in our Uni life. Always beginning from introducing who we are… What’s our hobbies… Why you are enrolling this course, etc. And sometimes we would have been told to introduce the one sitting next to us (I admit that it’s a quite special way of Ice Breaking).
Its quite boring right? Especially for the more introverted one, not feeling that comfortable while they have to say a lot or speak in front of a group of people. (Yeah, I’m one of those) It just starts becoming a kind of routine to all of us. Also, most people are forgetfulness, would there be a better way for us to impress who we are studying with? Uhhh… Ice Breaking Game again!!!

So, how can we change the dreariness of Ice Breaking, by using some ‘media’ way? Like some kind of New Media. Here is an example, the lecturer could tell students to record something about themselves, then post it on a Facebook group that letting group members to review those records when they have time.
Otherwise, here’s a more creative one: to have a video call within all students in class, by using Skype, ask a student to introduce themselves afterward in front of their phone/computer, could it reducing our stress of talking in front of others? (As these days people often have video conferencing rather than the actual one)
