In today’s class, Cat introduces some great tools such as ‘Dragon frame’ and ‘Pixar’ for us to use in our assignment 4. She talks about things to go through during our pre-production preparation in the current stage and she also mentions some tips for shooting.

Cat also shares some new AI technologies in 2020 to us. Some are very impressive and worth looking at.

• Virtual influencer – Miquela

I take a look at her channel and it is quite interesting that Miquela has a very ‘real’ life as a musician, change-seeker and robot. I have to say that AI technology is developing in a way which I never thought of and how it is adapted into our social life. She reminds of Hatsune Miku and I think in some ways, people’s acceptance of AI robots is higher than we expected.

Another 2020 AI technology which draws my attention is ‘Mind-reading AI”. I feel that mind reading become possible however, whether people can accept their minds to be read or not is questioned or I should say it is hard to know our degree of acceptance to AI technology which relates to some ethical and safety issues for our concerns.
