After we completed assignment2 last week, we watched each other’s work this week. I find that everyone has their own unique style. Although people may have the same theme, the videos are very different.

The style of my own works has changed a lot in the last two assignments. I wanted to try to express some of my ideas in my first video, but in fact I think I was not very successful to do that. My thoughts are expressed more in my reflection than my video. In the process of editing the video, I encountered many technical difficulties, which led to the discrepancy between my final video and my original ideas. I am more satisfied with the expression of my second video. I feel that is related to my preproduction of the video. In the first assignment, I sketched all the scenes on my notebook while I wrote a script instead of the sketching in the second assignment. I found this method to be more suitable for me.

I live in a very small apartment and with no shooting equipment except my phone. Obviously, it is more difficult to shoot in a very limited space and without ideal conditions. However, I think have met my own expectation under the existing conditions. It is a special time for all of us but everyone has done an excellent work and I learned a lot from my classmates.
