Our group wants to use different colours and lighting sources to create different moods and emotions. We planned to do three moods which were relax, horror and fantasy.

Here is the list of the equipment that we used in our first video:

What we experimented in this video were basically very simple and short clips. We chose three different locations to complete our shooting. Two of them were shot outdoor and the other one was shot indoor in my apartment. We did not use lots of lighting equipment as most of our scenes were shot outside where we cannot plug in the lamp. So that our filming was mainly rely on the natural light and we were making the best use of the cutter boards.

There are some aspects that I think we can improve in our next shooting. First of all, our shots are too simple and they are not connected. In our next video, we want to develop on what we did and establish the mood through not only one scene but several. Second, this time we did not plan very carefully, only set up our goals and topics. In this case, we spent a lot of time not knowing what to do and wasted our time. A very detailed script is what we are going to make for our next video. In addition, we want to do some costuming and maybe some makeup before shooting. This time we just change several people to see who got the best look in the camera. Moreover, the editing is very rough. We muted the sounds from the clips and added three different music pieces entirely throughout the video. I want to improve the sound part by involving more sounds to make it richer. Because of the limitation of space, we only did very basic and simple lighting indoor this time. We definitely want to book a studio which has bigger space and nice clean background. Our actresses in this video were all our group members. We planned to ask for a friend to be the actress for our second piece and we can focus on manipulating the camera and lighting stuff. Last but not least, timing is the most essential part in our production of film. Plan everything ahead and allow us more time in case of some uncontrollable situations.
