ASSIGNMENT 3 | Multiplying Moods: Development bolg1

In this week’s discussion, my group mates and I firstly decided the topics that we would like to do. We chose to do the four topics which are Horror, Warm/Relaxing, Romantic and Anxiety. This is the plan: I will do the horror one. Jenny will take respond for the relaxing one and romantic is taken by Cindy. Then, we will finish the last one together.

This is the screen shot of me talking to my group mates online.

Below are the sources of my inspiration:

I really like the first one “music for your soul”. Every video has only one picture which appears throughout the video while the music plays. Also, the picture suits very well to the music.

What in the second link is close to the ideal one that I want to achieve in my final piece.

To make our work more engaging, I proposed two ideas that we might try to make the four videos connected. First was that we can have an object which appears in all four videos but represents different meaning. For example, “white dress” can be the subject which appears in all four videos. It is usually seen in horror movie. And also, it can be used for the innocent love that a girl in white dress fall in love with a boy. In addition, a girl who might suffer from anxiety can wear white dress in hospital.

Second, I thought that we could do a series of videos about a girl in different moods. So the girl will be the connection point for our videos. We got our inspiration from the video that we watched in class. The video gathered different images which flipped fast and there was a wide variety of sounds. In this case, the way that the videos are being made will be similar to what we saw in the class.

Our group like the second idea that I proposed so that is the one that we are going to do in the next couple of weeks about “a girl in different moods”.
