In fact, I didn’t deliberately take footages and photos for synthesizing a particularly high quality video. Ever since I knew this project, I would have taken some videos and photos that I thought were meaningful, no matter where I went. And when I started the project, I turned my phone and found those materials. And all I had to do was to think about an idea for integrating the material. I was inspired by one of my classmates: you can do a similar picture in picture video which made people feel the atmosphere of your video and the ideas of your video, when they watched your video. Now my major is Media, great involving in computers, so I thought that the video about opening and closing computers can be used as the beginning and the end of the video. My story began to play while the computer was switched on, and my story ended while the computer was closed which meat that everything was over. Because there were some videos about tourism and watching fireworks, and some photos about rainbow and sunset in other materials, I just integrated the materials which seemed to be connected for forming a video which was similar to the time sequential video.
From the beginning, when I opened my computer in the morning, I was quite confused. I was confused that what should I do today and what did I want to learn or acquire after choosing this major. I put a picture which was about my pet dog, because she had a confused look in the picture. After that, I went out by idle car and looked at the scenery outside, because good scenery could change mood. It also meant a journey to find myself. Then I went to the seaside to watch the sunset, and I thought that I almost found my goal, like the rainbow after the rain. So I put the photos of rainbow and the photos of sea together. Finally, at night, seeing the fireworks in bloom, I found that my mood has changed completely, and I also knew that what I wanted to do or what I wanted.
That’s my video. I find it was not easy for me to make this video, even difficult. I finished the basic editing of video on Wednesday without any audio and subtitles and it took nearly 6 hours. There are two main reasons. First, I shoot the video in a wrong way which made the resolution and screen size was different from other videos when I started the video clip. For solving this problem, I took a lot of time to study how to use the video effect. This is also the second difficulty: Video effects. One of the most difficult was adding key frames. Now I know that there are so many ways to add and edit video effects. But when I finished editing the video, I was sure that I was happy, even with a sense of accomplishment. I thought that I had expressed what I wanted to say: About my mood change from confusion to completely open. I also felt that I would be able to better solve the work about Premiere Pro software, because I understood more about how the software works.
