My first week of University study was a surreal one. After taking a year off of study to work, save money and do some travel, I had almost forgotten what it was like to sit in a classroom and have a task to do. It was also almost a total failure, due to actually having work commitments and missing my whole first day! Luckily I was able to catch up throughout the week. It is other than being surreal, a daunting task, now that I realise how much work I have ahead to get my degree. Though I can’t help but feel excited to be doing something that I not only have been waiting a full year to start, but also have been wait most of my life to be focussing most of my time on, surrounded by others who share my passion for media. It really is a mixture of emotions studying again.
