This week in class we all presented our work in class and gave one another feedback. Each group has been working on completely different projects, but they’re all looking really great.Some groups showed multiple versions of the same videos with different colour grading or audio. Mostly the feedback everyone got were small things that were easily changed, such as changing a voice over or cut a clip a little sooner.

After our group showed one another our edits last week, we decided to show one version of each video to the class. Neither had been colour graded yet, but I think it will look much better once it’s been graded. The class agreed that the zoom shot wasn’t really working, so we’re going to try to find another way to cut that scene together. Watching “Blue Moon” on a bigger screen, I did find that when Justine’s singing was out of sync with the song, it was much more noticeable and somewhat frustrating.

Otherwise, the class seemed to like what we have so far. They all got a sense of how just how incredible our location was, which is something that was really important us and we wanted the videos to communicate. They also liked the pace of each video and the style of our editing. All in all, I feel were on track to have two videos to present at the screening that we are happy with and can feel proud of.
