In class (week 3) we discussed the woes of editing. Ok maybe only i call it a woe. I find Adobe Premiere to be extremely difficult to use, and editing to be my least favourite aspect of creating something within the world of media. But after finishing my project brief 2 i definitely feel proud of myself.
We also discussed the use of different media platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, Uber (to an extent, is is a social platform), Twitter ad Facebook. I find it interesting taking to people about the platforms they love, they hate and ones they could one day consider using. For example I don’t like the principles of snapchat but i enjoy using Instagram, whereas another classmate of mine enjoys using snapchat but does not have Instagram. I find it interesting that some people connect with some platforms over others, it shows that communicating with different apps can be a personal thing. But i am also very interested to see if the platforms we are using today will be the ones we are using in 20 years, if they will be replaced and how. Technology is ever changing and I am eager to see where it will go in the future.
