We discussed remix this week, and how nothing is an original idea. For example popular music today is all very similar and is made of of similar chord progressions, tones and tunes. Some may think its unoriginal but I think its a basis for inspiration. It allows people to take some parts of the old and create it into something bigger and better.

In my opinion it forces creativity.

Making something new, from the old  could possibly be considered an even more creative expression. This clip of the top hits mashup explores this idea of remix being something that sparks creativity and creates something incredible.
