This was our first class with Robbie in building 9. It was a class to work on our second project and work out a day for our testing ground task. Once we had finished Marissa and I left a little early to take our final footage for our second project. We borrowed a camera from the tech room and a weighted pole to slightly steady the camera. We chose to get a ‘steady cam’ stand as we intended to take our footage while moving around.

When we got to the Nicholas Building we set up and begun to take our intended footage. One issue we faced was when we were attempting to record certain sounds (e.g. the elevator) external noises would interfere. This worked in our favour in the end as the purpose was to capture the essence of the building through the exploration of our theme, and that’s exactly what we did.
