During this weeks workshop we were able to take turns in discussing what we were up to in front of the class and we were able to present any material we had already got together.
This was a sigh of relief, as up to this point I felt as if my group was a little behind. I often find this when I do group work as I always forget that the workload is shared.
This was a hard assignment because it was so broad. It was really interesting to hear how other people are approaching their topics and to see how differently they are presenting their ideas. We were given total freedom in constructing our own assessment and this is why I find it so interesting to see how each of the other groups have worked together to come up with such different ways of approaching it.
This was also a really good workshop as it helped us as a group come up with some alternate ways of approaching things such as the way we have chosen to construct our film by splitting it into three clear and concise sections. As we are choosing a more abstract approach to our film we felt it was necessary for the narrative to have some guidance and we are hoping this will be through the three separate sections.
