There is something terrifyingly exciting about starting something new.
The risk that you are doing something wrong, or the possibility of actually doing something right is thrilling.
Today I completed my first ever edited video using basic iMovie software on my computer. It may not be the greatest compilation of stock footage and sound but it is the greatest I have done yet.
Originally I was given the task to help develop my skill of video editing through exploring some of the basic properties of rhythm, colour, repetition and contrast. My task required me to explore shape through these principles.
While constructing my video I noticed that my theme not only explored the theme of ‘shape’ but it also explored both of the other themes of colour and movement. My video had demonstrated much more than I was expecting and while shape does play a large role in this clip, both colour and movement are very much present.
Pretty cool, I followed you 😛
