One of the main things I’ve found over the last 2 years, since I started my degree, is it allows me to develop my skills in relation to media making. In past classes I’ve mainly explored video editing, but considering we have to produce 16 images, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use Lightroom and Photoshop for the first time. Editing is one of my favourite stages of media making, it gives me the ability to further enhance my raw material and become more creative in my production. I find the process and end product a lot more satisfying for me. If you compare the before and after of the photos, there is a lot more dimension and attention to detail, and I feel like they are then more relevant to the actual purpose of the project.
