In today’s class, we focus on two things : story writing and introduce on Premiere.
Before Robin gives us two sheets about getting idea on writing a story, I never thought about I am gonna writing story in the further because I am not good at wring, especially I am not good at narrate a story happened around my life or any imagination on a story. And I am thinking why should we write story in this studio? We are not writers wrote a script, after I read the sheet, I felt I am totally wrong. Just like Roman Polanski said, it’s a process to explore what ‘we would to see on the screen- the kind of emotions, the kind of feelings, the kind of characters, atmosphere we’d like to see in a film.’  It’s not to be accurate, I mean, you don’t need to wrote story like a writer. An idea could start from anywhere, and location, but the most importing is : is that feasible to be screened in cinema screen? It’s a crucial to a filmmaker to think about it.

The example gave me a different perspective. The diary entry is like a story narrate without any interesting in there, no emotions, no feelings in there when I read it, and I was thinking isn’t just like a people telling you what happened around his life? Then, keep read, the short film outline attract me, why? Same story, but this one, why there is something attract me and let me interested?  It contains thematic, like a poetry, audience wants more in a film, we all like interesting story, ups and downs.

Then we went to edit suits talk through how to use media server and Premiere. I am very familiar with those stuff and happy review them again. One thing need me always reminder is : never make it messy , it’s have to tidy and classified.
