For this Monday, Jack and I skipped the Monday class to meet in Ballarat. We decided a proper meeting was in order and felt we could concentrate and get more done just us two. It was definitely worth it. We spent the morning planning what and when things needed to be done to stay on track as we hadn’t properly done this yet. It was good to structure our process so that time wouldn’t get away from us.
Along with this we also hit up Sturt St to do some filming. We only had Jack’s cameras from home which aren’t the best quality but we felt it was important to get out and film, even if we may not use it in the end. You also never know when you may need more b-roll if you’re stuck for footage. We went to Suttons, which actually now has a pop-up clothing store using the building. This was actually really great as it meant we could enter the building and get some footage! The access to the building was something that worried us but this worked out really well. The day was well spent in terms of planning but also getting out of the classroom and instead of just talking we got to film some footage too.
