One challenge we had was the lovely sound of a howling dog coming from next door. The dog basically didn’t stop for the duration of the interview and could be quite distracting at times. As well as distracting we hope that not too much of the audio will be compromised as we got some really great answers and discussion from the band that we want to use.
This interference was minor however, compared to the ordeal of trying to get our equipment back to RMIT. We had gone to real trouble in asking the IT guys for an extended time to borrow the equipment and needed it all strictly back by 4pm on the Thursday. We were relying on our third member to take it all back as she lives in Melbourne unlike myself and Jack. I had work that afternoon in Ballarat and Jack had driven from Geelong to Ballarat for filming so it wasn’t possible for us to return it. In the end the third group member did not end up making it to Ballarat and so Jack was forced to then drive from Ballarat to Melbourne to return it and then drive all the way back to Geelong. It was really stressful as we were really relying on this person and didn’t deserve our names on a black list at IT.
