Media Workshop 04.05.15 (ANOTHER SHOWING THE PROGRESS OF PROJECT BRIEF 4)

Brain storming ideas can be pretty cool. But it sometimes can be a challenge. Especially if two people are arguing for almost the same thing but not really knowing it. Well now I know it. Yesterday in class, we had the opportunity to share some ideas about how our arguments about mediums will eventuate into something consumable. Now, mediums can probably branch into many different things, but the thing that I’ll be focusing on is the internet. Not only what it does, but perhaps how its adapted into a medium which can create audiences to be either passive or  active in what they’re consuming.

Thats something which can create an interesting argument. It’s something we all participate in; consuming things online. So it’ll be interesting to analyse. We decided that each of the members will focus on different things, written word, broadcast and also internet.  That pretty much what was yesterday.

A BLOG POST

So… aparently the finding of things on the internet can be slightly challenging. And be slightly challenging I mean extremely challenging. I don’t know if I’ve recently had to immerse myself in the depths of Google Scholar so much, but I think its fair to say that the sooner I finish this blog post, and continue on the stratospherically impacting and fun quest for answers (I don’t know if ‘stratospherically’ is a word…) I will probably be slightly happier. So thats something. And on that encouraging note, back to good old Google scholar.

And it’s at this point that this blog post seems like a waste of not only your time to read, but my time to write. What did you or me actually get out of this? I don’t really know… or care that much really, the longer I keep typing for no real reason means I’m not on Google scholar and or looking for free sources. Since I most definitely do not have your attention at this point, I’m going to listen to a song. ‘We Will Rock You’ by Queen.

You probably can’t hear it because I’m listening to it, and I’m me and you’re not me so therefore you can’t hear me listening to ‘We Will Rock You’. So, I guess thats also something new to learn.
