A mother and 2 sons walk up to the candy bar of a cinema on a friday night. Her voice raised as she begins to make an order, fighting over not only the sounds from the masses walking about but also of her two children locked in a childish conflict, the mother struggling to keep them in check turns around to silence them but to no avail. The customers standing behind her in the line begin to wear a face of judgement and disdain for this hindrance that may delay their own lives. The staff member struggles to receive a direct answer from the children as to what they want, the mother acting as an ambassador to relay the staffs questions. “What drink would you like?” “What size popcorn would you like.” The kids still wrapped up in their own world. A man behind can be heard telling the lady to hurry up. The mother erupts into a fit of rage as she scolds her children, making haste towards the cinema with no food or drinks. The children’s faces begin to turn sour as they realize they were the cause for their own punishment. The children enter the cinema with the mother, not another word is spoken.
