Observational Writing // Post 3

A little girl rant out from the narrow alley to the main street. Her house might be inside the alley, as she was wearing red pajamas and her parents were nowhere to be seen. The girl walked slowly in front of the coffee shop and laid her eyes on the customers who sat outside. Her hands were unconsciously playing with a lollipop stick. No one cared that they were being watched. Everyone continued drinking, smoking, and talking.

She stood there for more than 5 minutes, doing nothing but observing and flicking her stick. Eventually, she walked to a car that was parked opposite the coffee shop and leaned on it. She then put the stick between her index and middle finger and slowly put the top of the stick in her mouth for a second. After she took it out, the girl slightly opened her mouth and looked down like she was waiting for something to come out of her mouth. She started walking around again while still doing her new act. A guy finally noticed the girl. He looked directly at her for just a moment before turning his head away, acting as what he saw was just a little girl playing an innocent game with herself.
