Summer is definitely not a cat’s favorite season. 3 cats were lying on the floor in front of the fan, sleeping uncomfortably next to each other. Although they have completely different coats and one of them was older, one can tell they were sisters. 2 of them have white coats but the older sister has dashes of black and grey on her. The last kitten was covered with a beautiful apricot colour. It was uncanny how identical their sleeping position was. They bent their bodies like a shrimp to the same side and their tiny paws were put in front of their faces. They twisted and turned constantly for the whole afternoon, probably because of the heat or the bustling city sounds. Also, every time someone headed downstairs, they would stop for a moment to pet the kittens, waking them up from their sleep.

The kittens seemed peaceful in a way as well. They resembled students who just started their summer holiday and wanted to make up for all the sleep they lack during the school year. Students too only get out of bed when dinner is ready.
