Reflection to PB4

This semester has to be done this week , I’m very happy to learn the media , but do blog for me is not a simple thing , I think this semester my blog’s Critical thinking is not enough, I am more focus on the summary of the project. Maybe next semester I will focus on the critical aspects of the blog.
This semester I keep changing the understanding of the media, at first I was trapped my thoughts in a narrow range.
But in fact, the media may be electronic media (such as television), print media (such as newspapers), advertisement media or social media (such as Facebook) .Media is the collective communication outlets or tools that are used to store and deliver information or data.It is either associated with communication media, or the specialized mass media communication businesses such as:. print media and the press, photography, advertising, cinema, broadcasting (radio and television) and publishing (Wikipedia)
As a media communication, media is everywhere. It can be dates back to ancient cave paintings, drawn maps, and writing. In the modern media, especially social media is a part of people’s lives. A lot of information in this era is spreading at an unprecedented rate.We are surround by media, media is not far away from us, we can see it, touch it and even hear it.Media attracts our attention, and it become an integral part of our life, as we have done before –make a list about week two media one Lectorial Exercise-‘Media is Everywhere ‘ we can see the figure of media in every corner.

In my original idea, perhaps the media only on video and audio. I am most interested in video, but video is also a challenge to me. I want to put my feelings through my video, but let the audience feel how I feel is a very difficult thing. what I need is not just a few lines, I need the right music, the right scene and even the right actor.In my spare time I editing a few small fragments about five minutes, I’m happy to do this, and this helped me to improve my ability to make the video.
In project work 4, I learned how to conduct a successful interview:
1. Always keep a smile (do not be discouraged), maybe some people think that this interview is common sense, but in fact, after being rejected many times after smiling (confidence) is very difficult.
2. Do not invite people who are busy walking. People’s walking speed slower than other are more likely to accept the invitation.
3. fashion dress people and young people are more likely to be interviewed. Perhaps the reason is that they are more dynamic and confident than other.
4. Set the device in a crowded place. Such as the top of the stairs.
5.Talk to different people. (Men, women, the elderly, students and office worker) to makes the interview become more extensive and persuasive.
I should thanks to my team members Michael, he’s a good reporter, as he said in the SWOT analysis: He is good at interviewing.

In this project, my writing and speaking skills have been tempered, Before recording the audio, we wrote a summary of the material that we have so far, this strengthened my writing skills, after recording, my speaking skill also It has been strengthened, my team members help me to correct my pronunciation, when we writing the meeting detail, Tash and I work together, after I finished, she helped me to correct my grammar and add some sentences in it. In doing this project, I’m not only learned how to interview, but also learned how to do the teamwork, this is a very valuable experience for me, and for me, as an international student, I get my chance to improve my speaking skill and writing skills are also very important .
Now, in my mind,media has a very broad range, As a media practitioner, creativity and action are very important. Media needs energetic workers, we need to keep thinking,I will try to find the media which is around me. I also have a difficult time, especially for writing the blog, as an international student this is the biggest problem that I face to, but learning is always difficult, I’m sure I’ll get over it. In conclusion, I want to thank everyone, my team and my tutor, for always being enthusiastic. Next semester I want to more deeply analyze my thoughts in blog
