This week, we did a couple of shooting in order to test whether the setting is appropriate during the 360-degree scene. We kept sticking to our plan of a man who has PTSD after returning from the battlefield. We decided to shoot from third person perspective due to the fact that it was quite difficult to shoot from first person perspective without any head-mounted cameras. In addition, third person has a better viewing of the whole environment and the audience might not feel dizzy that much.

For the editing, I added plenty of foley which created a sense immersion in the real battlefield. The most challenge parts would be adjusting the volumes among different layers of soundtracks. In order to create a immersive soundscape, I had to find the sweet spot where has the perfect combination of all soundtracks by increasing/decreasing the volumes, and it also provided a sense of fade-in/fade out when I adjust the volumes at the beginning or ending of each soundtrack.

When I watch the video, it was not that good as I expected. Even though I built a comprehensive soundtrack, but I was not able to identify where the sound comes from.
