In our workshop today, we showed Louise our audio essay rough cut. You could defiantly call it a “rough cut”, since we had some parts on my computer in Audition and then other parts on Sylvia’s Audition file. I had the intro and music on mine and then Sylvia had the interview and little sound effect sequences in the middle of some of the questions. So when we showed Louise it wasn’t actually put together as a whole yet, but she could get an idea of where we were going.

Louise said that we were doing well and that the sound didn’t have much were you could fault.  She just gave us some pointers in implementing other sound effects that represent a class room, and since we were using Obama’s voice for some of it, she told us to introduce him because not everyone knows who he is. But I reckon if you’ve watched TV or been on social media you would have heard his voice before haha but it was still a valid comment, and obviously we followed it.

Another thing we werent sure about was if one interview was enough, because I had heard that other people had done more than one interview. But after Louise said at leats you’ve got the minutes then that’s all you need. That made me realise, yeah, we don’t need it to be amazing in the amount of interviews it just has to be amazing in what we got and how we produce it!
