What is the controlling idea of your portrait?

The controlling idea is to show her qualities through representations of painting equipment and the what people teenagers think is they are during adolescence and trying to find yourself at a young age.

The portrait is structured with cuts of a storyline (painting qualities) and her answering questions about herself.
