De Bonos Thinking Hats

In media practical class 2, we used Edward De Bono’s Thinking Hats to help review and talk about each others collected photos, videos, and song recordings. Each hat has a different meaning that is used to think critically and find certain parts of our groups work that is good/bad, creative, interesting, unique ect. Also thinking about how the footage makes you feel, and the sense of emotion each clip has on its audience. Its an excellent way to explore infinite pros and cons of each individuals project.

I personally got the GREEN HAT which is the creative/new ideas hat. This was particularly easy, because each individuals project on our table was different and took on different elements. Therefore when it came to finding the pro’s and creative stuff involved was easy! I also told some of them what could make it better and increase the creativity level! Over all, Edward De Bono’s Hat’s are very successful in evaluating each others work. Maybe next time use PMI?
