Week 6.
This week consisted of final consults for Assignment 2 and reviewing and rough cuts provided. This proved helpful as I showed my introduction to my final production and got some feedback from Cat and peers. I am becoming a lot more confident at sharing work and seeking suggestive feedback.
We also continued to learn about the term video art which was provided in the readings. From video tape to installations, the adaptation of video art in real life was very interesting. With the idea of video art in my mind also prompted me to start considering my topic for Assignment 4. I am going to use the mid-semester break to contemplate what element of video I should focus upon and how I can creatively display that in video format for ACMI.
Altogether, I experimented in many different creative elements in post-production this week which included 4-tile panelling, creative editing styles, multi-layer audio and more. I found it very beneficial to experiment and use for future projects.
