The conversation we had with Field Carr was extremely beneficial. He spoke about how he started in advertising, which is a field of work I am extremely passionate about. It was nice to see that someone can adapt and shape their career path in to something completely different. It reminds me, I still have plenty of options when it comes to a future career. From speaking to Field and the amazing adaptations that ACMI provide, I began to play around with audio edits and Adobe Premiere Pro, to enhance my skills.
This workshop was extremely helpful to outlining the upcoming assignment and answering questions related to sound and also visuals. It encouraged me to test Foley and also try out some copyright-free materials provided by RMIT and Adobe.
