Hula Hoop Circle

This weighted hula hoop was a present I gave my sister recently. Hula hooping has become quite an obsession of ours as of late. Perhaps it’s partly the nostalgia we feel when we practice keeping the hoop above our ankles, but I’d say it’s mostly an attempt to make exercise more enjoyable. I chose to shoot the hoop rolling across the frame and then (miraculously) land against the chair because I thought it would be easier to observe the circle shape from this angle. The slow roll across screen could also make a viewer wonder if someone’s hoop has escaped them.
