Unfortunately I couldn’t attend this week’s lecture. However, this week’s workshop had some similar activity (from what’ve heard) that I can draw some insights from.
For one this, it seems that a good portion of the class is already familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, which makes me feel quite behind. I’m usually on top of things like this but I suppose I need to learn somehow! With the second Project Brief and our Haiku assessment, that will give me some good practice and some good flapping-about time with the thing. I’m pretty excited to acquire a new set of skills with a new program.
I did it find quite daunting to present our first Project Brief with a group of people I was fully acquainted with yet. I had done a recording of me singing, which I am NEVER inclined to perform in front of actual people. (Nope.) (Oh god no.) (Not in your wildest dreams, pal.) But fortunately, it went smoother than I anticipated, after realising that my peers were probably just as nervous as I was. I’m thankful for those moments of clarity.
