Conventional colour grade. About making things look sexy and making colour motifs, saturating them and making them consistent with each other. “Pink Leisure Suit”, the dogs wearing green, dog behind the desk.
In our work, we are trying to create re occurring colours. What was or is our inspiration? How can we bring this in more and make it a theme or motif. Our inspiration from Drive & True Romance, the LA neon colours, how can we make that really intense and visual provocative?
How much contrast are we going for? What suits the energy of the song? What tones are we looking for?

This is about someone born intersex and the parents decide to go with the choice to make him a boy. The boy thinks he’s both genders. The frog is half way between a frog and a tadpole. A lot of subtle things. To be able to tell a story like this in a music video. Takes a while to realise what’s going on, but turns to colour towards the end.
