In todays class we had some quick feed back about how to progress with our audio essays. Following this, myself and a member of my group went to work on our audio essay in the editing suite (building 9, basement).
Some of the feed back we received included mixing up parts of our samples of evidence to create intrigue. I was also told to speed up the pace of my narration, which I thought was good advice as I hadn’t clued on to how slow I was speaking (hehe). Also, as our piece is divided in three sections, we were told to use music or gaming sounds (our essay is on gaming) to tie the pieces together.
It was even suggested (and this was a really cool idea but I don’t know if we can pull it off) structure our essay (to some degree) as if it were a game, with the intro resembling the introduction to a game and the body resembling the content of the game .. etc.
In the studios I worked on redoing my narration at a faster pace, and also editing the segments together smoothly.
