One thing I struggled with a lot when working in Final Cut Pro was colour correction. I was making a promotional video and one of the DSLR cameras was on the wrong white balance settings which made everything that was filmed look washed out. When I was given all the footage I spent a long time trying to match colour correct the washed out footage with the good footage but had very little luck.
Now working in Premiere Pro CC, the colour correction options are much more extensive. There were a few shots from me portrait on Ben Greenwood I wanted to adjust slightly so I looked up some tutorials for colour correction. I find that the brightness and contrast effects to be very good as well as the three colour correction effect. Take a look at the video bellow if you would like to see how colour correction works in Premiere Pro CC.
