Unfortunately our group wasn’t able to meet up after class on Monday, so we decided to meet yesterday at 4:30 after class. This actually turned out quite well though because we saw each other in the morning for our media 1 workshop and had a chance to talk things over then, and afterwards we meet up again just to clarify our thoughts for the audio essay.

For this essay we will first introduce our topic of media technologies and mediums, and then go on to explain how the developing technology has lead to the creation of social media. Afterwards, we will then be looking at the Paris Terror Attacks last year, and how the events unfolded on social media. After doing so, we will look at the positive and negatives of social media in the context of the terror attacks, and the conclude by linking back to the overall topic.

So this weekend, Anna will be writing a script while Jialu and I found material to include in the audio essay. This will be completed by Monday so we can then have a rough edit completed by Thursday.
