Being a member of the under 19 Australian Lacrosse team is no walk in the park. Ben Greenwood has been playing the high intensity sport for nine years now, and in only a few months time, will be heading off to Canada to compete at Nationals. As a result he has had to put a lot of other things in his life on hold to for fill his lacrosse commitments. But has Ben said himself, he was happy to make some sacrifices knowing what he would be able to achieve if he gave it his all. Not only that, but through playing lacrosse he has learnt to respect all those around him, team mates and coaches alike.
