It was my aim for this project to reflect my identity from the perspective of those I love. By doing this the audience gets a more honest and truthful perspective.

Having the constraint of a sixty second video did make things very challenging as I had to think of a fast way I could illustrate who I am. This made me think of the lecture we had on The Edit and Walter Murch. To determine if a shot is necessary you must consider if it advances the plot.

Knowing that I had to incorporate text into my video I decided to do so through the use of a white board. I thought doing so would be more engaging that simply using text on screen. I also choose to show some clips in fast motion in order to not only save time, but also to use different editing techniques. Therefore, the white board was a vital prop in the video as my friends and family wrote one word on the board that they believe best describes me. Furthermore, they then wrote their relation to me to indicate to audiences why that particular person was in the video.

I decided to choose the location of the park as it was a place I visited a lot when I was young. I would ride my bike there with my Dad and play on the play ground. This is shown through the use of sound in the video. I recorded sounds of foot steps, the flying fox, and laughter which played softly in the background. The music from the guitar aims to be calming and relaxed to set the mood of the video.

There were a few things that I do not believe worked as well as I hoped. I am not content with the sound though out the video. I think the playing of the guitar could have been better and the sounds from the play ground were not clear. I do not think that audiences will make the connection between what they are hearing and seeing and therefore will not recognise the sounds to be that of a playground. However this project did teach me to work within strict constraints and force me to be more creative.
