WHAT I LIKE:
- The surreal feel of this video.
- The camera movement (majestic swoops) and its edited speed: slow-motion to fast motion to slow-motion. I quite like how the purple tint kind of flashes in the slow-motion parts. It’s kinda cool.
- The shape and movement of the table tennis balls. And their striking form and colour against the black surface. And their reflection in the black surface.
- The second shot where we ‘step back’ and look at the table tennis balls moving at normal speed from a greater distance.
- The sound of the ping pong balls hitting each other near the end of the video. And the sound of one ping pong ball falling onto the ground.
- The static-y atmos sound, and how it changes pitch/frequency at the sped up / slowed down bits.
- The purple tint.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE:
- The jerky bit at the start where the video momentarily freezes.
- The slightly more distinct sound of a car traffic in the last shot.
- The static-y atmos sound, and how it changes pitch/frequency at the sped up / slowed down bits.
- The purple tint.
Fulfils brief: Video clip using round things in your house. Does this in a creative and interesting way. A few technical things that aren’t great, but I’m quite happy with it as a sketch video.
