The relief felt when you’ve been waiting on a text/email all day for a potential employment opportunity or some other formal reason, for it to then be responded to with a typo, is overwhelming. This turns the release valve of the situation considerably as it tells you they aren’t taking the care and precision you would for work emails. It says a lot about a potential employer’s vibe when a typo appears in their communication with you, as up until that point you’re really just forced into assumptions about this person, and oftentimes this assumption about this person, and oftentimes this assumption is veering towards extreme caution about appearing too relaxed or uncaring about the situation. When the first typo is cast, the real relationship begins.
