My takeaway idea…from Memphis’ takeaway idea

Memphis‘ takeaway idea to Bush’s week 4 reading was that the article reaffirmed to her the importance of technology and education. Memphis didn’t just read the article, she related it to the course which I believe is a great skill. She could see the main parallels between Bush’s article and the course. For example, instead of handing in essays at the end of the course, we are actively learning and engaging with the course- for example by writing blog posts weekly. Memphis thinks that passive lectures and learning may have once worked well but now not so much.

Instead of utilising a traditional learning model where we sit passively in lectures and complete assignments in the form of essays, Networked Media tailors its own learning format, ensuring students get the most out of the course.
