Research on Practice 1

We all were editing video footages from Tuesday’s class, because I was absent in Tuesday, so I did not shoot the scene with classmates. I chose the work from group B. I used to watch all the original footages and mark or rename the footages to help me getting easy to find and use next time. Then I would watch second time the whole footages to make sure nothing is missing. The third time what I watched are only the clips which I have chosen and I need to decide the clips I’ll use in order. Next step is editing, a girl’s eye is hurt by the sunshine and she is forced to accept a woman’ help, very short story and I only used 10 mins to edit the rough cut. I watched through the whole rough cut and found so many mistakes in it, some goofs and feel inconsequent while watching. I tried my best to avoid the goofs like the hand’s position between the shots, the mobile phone’s appear and disappear and also their gestures. Since fixing all of these, I looked through my fine cut again, I still felt a little bit weird, I tried some ways and decided to add blank space between few shots. Now I am home and I have watched the final cut in google folder and I am still not satisfied with my final cut. Sad~~
