First day class of Film 3 was a lot of fun, today’s I met my tutor Mr. Robin Plunkett. He done a simple intro to the class and quickly start off talking Studio Prompt which I find it very interesting. It makes me understand the entertainment industry like making good movies and documentary videos trend had changed some of the assumptions about what online community looks like, how individual and collective identity, power and control show up in these communities and the balance between the individual and the group. Then I also realised the media industry are improving day by day, the purpose of this is to reminds audiences that no matter where we go or what we are doing, we are always surrounded media. For example, Television, Internet and Newspaper or even a magazine cover page with can capture readers eyes.
I studied Broadcast Media and Film TV1 on my previous semester, I found that creating a good production required a lots of time on doing research, it’s very fun and I learnt a lot. This time I hope that I can learn more filming skills as well as meeting and working with others. I understand Film 3 also required a lot of writing skills, after doing several of research I realise that blogging communities implied a community who interacted online within some bounded set of technologies and because i think it give my some good ideas and inspiration topic for my blog. Therefore, I have decided to structure my blog into tutorial, class activities and talk about unrelated to media such as fashion, social media, movie or music and other things that i’m interested in.
Last but not least, I hope that the media production that I will be creating by the end of semester should be part of any full education and is certainly appropriate in a degree about educational technology, given the strong role of technology in media production. As well as give me the opportunity to gain a better understanding on defining target audiences and gives me the chance to explode my creativity.
