A music video does not only help the artists to promote their music recordings, but also makes a connection between the artists and the audiences. A great music video can create an audio-visual communication and deliver a behind message of a song to the viewers. Since my brother is a music producer, I always have a dream of producing a music video for his music. I have done some filming such as documentary in the school before, but I have never try on music video. Therefore, after reading the course guide, I knew that this is the course that I do not want to miss out.

Enrolling in Egg Hunting course, I want to gain more knowledge on music video making, such as knowing the budget and props used in production. I also want to develop my skills on music video production, such as in video directing, cinematography, and editing. Most importantly, learning the skills on teamwork is always crucial in media industry. It is always hard to work in a team with people who we just met. Fortunately, I am able to work with my old classmates Grace and Even and also with our new friend Clore. As working in group, I hope that we can work collaboratively and produce an inventive music video together. In previous school projects, I have mostly done the work on editing which I have lack of skill on controlling a camera. Therefore, I hope to take in role of camera operator in order to improve my skill on camera operating.

Egg Hunting is going to be a challenging course, yet it is going to be fun and exciting. My goal for this course is to create a viral music video for the artist and also to explore and enhance my skills for future career in media industry. A six-week program isn’t easy, but I know I am going to enjoy it.
