Week 5

In week 5, we have to present our rough cut to Rohan and Cindy in order to get our feedback. Firstly, we listed down the requirements that we need for the film and we must have it before rough cut submission.

• Release Form – we have to translate the release form into Mandarin version for Mr. Huang to sign as an agreement
• Family album scans – we need to get the family albums from Mr. Huang and scan the photos as our archival footage.
• Sound Print – we need a background music for our film which Meg’s friend gives a hand and work on it right now
• Storyboard Reshoot – we have to reshoot some of the footage to present as a better quality of clips
• Get the “Story” down – we need to finalise our storyline and present in order

We divide the group into three team where we work on different tasks. Meg and Jack mainly work on editing, Lydia and Denise take part in footage reshooting while Even and I approach to Mr. Huang to get the release form down and ask for his family albums. It was really a productive week where we were all busy in part of our task and we are ready to show our rough cut to Cindy and Rohan.
