At the beginning of our workshop today, we listened to an audio essay from radio lab about sleep. Before listened to this, I didn’t know the audio essay could be so interesting. At first I thought the audio essay would be people talking from a script straight which is really boring. However, this audio work had add in different sound technique to make it be more interesting. It was really a great example for us to think about our audio essay for project brief.

After listening to this audio work, I noticed some points:

• Different voice
• Humor
• Atmospheric sound
• Interviews
