The main idea of this article is to illustrate how virtual reality leads the audience into the story. Before leading the reader step into the story, the narrators need to understand the audiences’ experience in virtual reality and understand their roles in the story. Immersive journalism is up now because of the development of new technology. Nowadays, almost everyone on the road has their own mobile phones which make them easier accessing the use of interactive data. The goal of journalism is to bring audiences “as close to unfolding events as possible” and to keep the audience engaged in the story. “It’s not just the media coming to you,” says Dan Pacheco, professor of journalism innovation at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. “You move into the media.”

This article tells us how audience affected by the virtual reality. This enable us to have better sense on how media use the term of narrative to lead the audience and make the audience step into the story. It will be a great article to reference for our point of how the reality TV program use text and narrative to shape the idea and make the audience entertain in the program.
